All the World's a What? Turning Around Shakespeare Makes It Truer.

The bard famously wrote

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.

What happens when we turn that around?

All the men and women are stages, and the world is merely players.

Now, isn't that truer than Shakespeare's original line?

As best I can express it in words, I am (what I truly am is) a stage. My consciousness is an empty stage. The world walks onto the stage of my consciousness and I experience it. The world brings on new characters, new relationships, new places, new feelings. They come onto my stage and then they leave my stage. The world is merely players.

I, what I truly am, is the stage where all the players, aka the world, have their entrances and their exits.
